Embracing Personal Healing for Global Transformation

In my journey as a healer, I've come to see that healing is not just an individual act — it's a global movement. Through my work with the Optimal Health Network, I've had the privilege to guide countless people in reconnecting with their bodies and unlocking their potential for well-being. This experience, along with my lived experience, has shown the interconnectedness of physical health with emotional and spiritual health.

My own path to optimal health has been harrowing, beautiful, and anything but linear. When I was seventeen, my thirteen-year-old brother Jay was killed in a tragic accident — a death he had predicted over a year in advance, down to the color of the car that hit him. His death tore through my already dysfunctional family and destroyed any sense of community I once had. There was no space to grieve and no one to grieve with, as if everyone who had known Jay had died along with him. Propelled down a self-destructive path of drug addiction and reckless sex, I spent much of my early twenties wanting to die. Once or twice I came close.

Though I managed to get myself into a recovery program and get clean and sober, I then turned to sugar, junk food, and soda to cope with painful emotions from my past that I still hadn't faced. I soon became chronically ill, suffering from severe digestive distress and multiple chemical sensitivities. Through engaging with powerful tools for emotional healing and finding people and communities that could hold me and all my feelings, I was able to process the grief and terror of losing my brother so young along with the other trauma I faced as a child. I continued to pursue methods of healing and learned about colon hydrotherapy. Thirty years later, I live a full and healthy life and am the proud owner of a successful health and wellness business, helping thousands of individuals recover from a wide range of health challenges. I've seen first-hand what is possible when one has the right tools and support to heal, both through my own journey and in working with clients.

What My Brother Knew: A Memoir

When I think about the global crisis we face today, I can't help but see the connection between personal healing and global healing. It's the same process: learning to listen deeply, confront our shadows, and move toward a new future. I've seen clients transform in profound ways, and this transformation is exactly what our world needs right now.

This is one of the reasons I chose to write a memoir about my story of loss and healing: to share the lessons I've learned along the way, lessons that can inspire others to step into their own healing journey. In taking charge of our own growth and healing, we can each become part of the greater movement for global wellness. My memoir, titled What My Brother Knew, is not only the story of my personal transformations but also a testament to the power we all have to create change, both within ourselves and the world around us. What if our collective healing could change the world? My memoir dives deep into this question, weaving together my personal story with my journey across the globe. If you're looking for inspiration and practical wisdom to apply to your own life, I invite you to explore the depths of life with me. Together, we can make a difference.
