The Mycotoxin Panel tests for 16 of the most common mycotoxins emitted by 5 mycotoxin families, providing insights into the potential toxic mold burden created by hundreds of mold varieties.
Molds that create mycotoxins can be found in a variety of places including our homes, our workplaces, and the foods we eat.

This panel uses a simple liquid urine specimen collection, so it's easy to complete this test from home!
This test is run using Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). An established immunological technique, ELISA is widely used to detect the presence of specific antibodies or antigens in a patient's blood. The ELISA method detects mycotoxins that have been structurally modified within the body providing more accurate results than similar testing run through mass spectrometry. This test is done through US BioTek Laboratories.
Mycotoxins tested in this panel: Aflatoxin B1, Aflatoxin B2, Aflatoxin G1, Aflatoxin G2, Satratoxin G, Satratoxin H, Isosatratoxin F, Roridin A, Roridin E, Roridin H, Roridin L-2, Verrucarin J, Verrucarin A, Gliotoxin, Ochratoxin A (OTA), Zearalenone (ZEA)

How the Testing Process Works
- When you order a Mycotoxin Panel, we will mail you a testing kit.
- The accuracy of the test depends upon many factors. While our lab partner, US BioTek Labs, is responsible for the technical aspects of the test, the results will only be as good as the raw material or sample that is received. For this reason, please carefully follow the instructions included in the kit when collecting your urine sample.
- After you send the kit directly to the lab with your sample (per the instructions provided), it takes approximately 10 days for Optimal Health Network to receive the test results from the lab.
-
We will email a PDF of the test results to you once we receive them from the lab. These will be emailed to the email address associated with your Optimal Health Network account.
- When you receive your test results from us, please fill out our secure client intake form. After you submit the form, you will receive a link to schedule your complimentary 15-minute consultation with Kristina via her booking calendar.
