Latex-free silicone colon tubes are the preferable nozzle for taking therapeutic enemas. Silicone colon tubes bring your liquid enema solution beyond the area of the rectum. When giving yourself a therapeutic enema, you want to take in 2-3 quarts of water to fully cleanse the entire colon. When the rectum fills with liquid, cramping can easily occur. The colon tube decreases cramping by delivering solution deeper into the colon.
Colon tubes are also the nozzle of choice when taking coffee enemas. Using a colon tube during your coffee enema delivers the coffee to that part of the colon nearest to the hepatic vein, which delivers the coffee directly to the liver. Silicone colon tubes are also suitable for implanting bifidonate and other therapeutic colon implants. Use only silicone colon tubes because they do not carry the risk of causing your body to develop sensitivities to materials like latex or rubber.
