Enema Series

goat milk soap

Are regular enemas harmful? What protocol do you recommend for a regular enema? What type of solution do you use to clean out the colon? Do you recommend soap?

Like the inside of your mouth, your colon contains living organisms and soft tissue. Your mouth stays healthier with regular cleaning. The same is true of your colon. Regular colon cleansing is as beneficial to your health as regular teeth brushing.

On this page I present the protocol that I use in my clinic to clear out the entire colon with an enema series.

One Client's Healing Week with the Enema Series

How to Take an Enema
This movie details how a new enema user can easily and effectively use an enema bag to clear out the entire length of the colon. Kristina and a female model demonstrate how to set up and use an enema bag, how to prepare the enema solution, how to use an enema tubing clamp, how to lubricate and insert the enema nozzle and how to easily take two quarts of enema solution to fully clear out the entire colon.

How To Take a Coffee Enema
DeeDee Delkamp of the Optimal Health Center describes the benefits of coffee enemas and gives step-by-step instructions for taking a coffee enema on your own at home.

OPTIMAL HEALTH NETWORK'S
ENEMA SERIES PROTOCOL

 First Enema

Use 1-4 quarts of filtered water and made-for-enema goat milk soap. Soak soap in the water for 20-60 seconds. The amount of water and soap one uses varies between people: a more sensitive person needs less soap and your colon will let you know how much enema solution to take in. During this enema, start out on your left side. After the first ½ to 1 quart of filtered water has been delivered into the colon, turn onto your back. Massaging the abdomen during this time assists the body to receive the water with less cramping. Our made-for enema goat milk soaps contain butyric acid, which is the main food source of the cells in the lining of the colon, supporting them to function properly and maintain the integrity of the intestinal lining. Our made-for-enema soap also stimulates the colon without irritating it, thereby increasing the healing properties and effectiveness of the colon cleansing therapy. The first enema doesn't need to be held at all: once the colon is full, sit on the toilet and empty.

 Second Enema

Use 2-4 quarts of water. Add one teaspoon of Celtic Sea Salt and 2-4 drops of an essential oil such as Purification to each quart of filtered water. This enema is used to clear out the second half of the colon, to balance electrolytes, to optimize for healthy bacteria and to strengthen overall immunity. You ought to be able to take at least 2 quarts of water into your body during this colon cleanse. Take your time with this enema, allowing 10-15 minutes to take the entire volume of enema solution. Once the colon is full, sit on the toilet and empty.

 Third Enema

Use one quart of filtered water with one tablespoon to one cup of brewed, organic, made-for-enema coffee for this colon cleansing solution. This enema adds an additional level of therapy to your colon cleanse by assisting your liver and gallbladder. Hold the coffee enema solution for 12-15 minutes, after you have taken all of the coffee solution into your colon. Once the time has past, sit on the toilet and empty.

 Enema Implant

To support a healthy colonic mucosa, implant Raven, R.C., or ImmuPower essential oil with one cup of aloe vera juice after your enema series. To learn more about his protocol, visit our mucoid plaque page.

Add one 1 teaspoon of Bifidonate with one cup of aloe vera juice to assist the body to repopulate the healthy colonic flora. Implant solution into the colon after you have fully cleansed your colon. Hold as long as you are able. You may even be able to go about your day and not evacuate the solution until your next bowel movement.

You may also wish to try frankincense essential oil in your implant. The scientific literature on cancer and frankincense is incredibly hopeful. International laboratory research has demonstrated frankincense essential oil's ability to shut down cancer cells without harming healthy cells. Couple this with the ample scientific evidence that exists that 1) the colon is an effective delivery system for therapeutic agents and 2) among cancers affecting both men and women, colorectal cancer is the second leading cancer killer in the United States, then I suggest we have a powerful preventive essential oil to use in the enema implant.  SUMMARY

The enema series protocol listed above will not deplete the body of electrolytes, will increase the amount of healthy microorganisms in the colon, will improve overall immunity, will support the liver, and will not irritate sensitive colonic tissues. In this way, regular enemas are very healthy for most people.

Cleaning Your Enema Equipment
In this video blog post from Kristina, learn how to clean your enema equipment.

Cleaning out the enema bag, enema hose, and enema nozzle is crucial to safe colon cleansing. Always use a nontoxic soap like Thieves Cleaner or Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap. Also, hang the bag and hose upside-down to dry. Clean the nozzle out well with soap and soak in Grapefruit Seed Extract, making sure there's no fecal matter left on it. Using a pipe cleaner to remove any small bits of fecal matter works well.
