18:02:22 Darvis: Hi Lisa
18:02:37 Lisa: Hi Darvis!
18:02:49 Darvis: greetings....how are the teeth?
18:03:03 Lisa: We are getting started a little late!
18:03:16 Tim: hi Lisa
18:03:30 Lisa: Hi Tim!
18:03:46 Tim: i missed last month
18:04:09 Jean: This is my first time in a chat room.
18:04:11 Lisa: Looks like we have a good group today. Hope we can get started soom!
18:04:22 Tim: yes:
18:04:27 Darvis: Last month was my first live chat and I found it very interesting...and informative
18:04:34 Tim: any chat room jean?
18:04:51 Jean: Yes.
18:04:58 Lisa: Welcome to our group Jean!
18:05:06 Tim: how did you find this one? yes, welcome
18:05:13 Jean: Thanks. I see how it works now.
18:05:37 Lisa: We always get started on time. I wonder what happened!
18:05:46 Darvis: Lisa......how is your tooth feeling?
18:05:50 Switchablesusie: This is my first visit also.
18:05:51 Jean: Found it on the Optimal Health Network website.
18:06:04 Tim: me too jean
18:06:32 Lisa: The extraction went just fine. Now I feel like such a wimp for being so afraid!
18:06:59 Darvis: NO....no problem...it was like your first enema?
18:07:05 Tim: Kristina must be busy
18:07:10 Jean: When can we start typing questions?
18:07:32 Tim: usually when Kristina is here jean
18:07:50 Jean: Okay.
18:08:16 Tim: but you can ask , maybe someone else can answer it...
18:08:24 Darvis: Go ahead Jean.....ask your question...and let's get some dialogue
18:08:26 Lisa: Kristina and I were going to have a phone meeting and she never got back to me about the time. I hope all is well with her!
18:09:38 Lisa: And, where is KJ? maybe they are having computer problems. It's not like them to be late!
18:09:48 Darvis: well....I agree
18:10:39 Lisa: Maybe we should get started on our own. Any qiestions or comments?
18:10:39 Tim: I bought the enema video Kristina made and it was excellent.
18:10:42 Deedee: Hi Folks, Kristina is here as DeeDee due to technical problems.
18:10:51 Jean: In one of Kristina's short videos she mentioned the person desiring an enema because of constipation caused by medications. Personal experience has taught me constipation can also be caused by a chemical exposure and also a pulled back.
18:11:27 Jean: I just realized I'm not allowed to type too much.
18:11:47 Darvis: Must be a lot of technical problems....
18:11:58 Deedee: I am so pleased that you all joined us today.
18:12:11 Tim: Question? What do you do when the doctor wants you to have a colon scope and want you to use the chemicals to flush out?
18:12:12 Deedee: Thanks for the feedback on the movie.
18:12:30 Deedee: Good question!
18:12:50 Tim: jean, probably Kristina could best answer that...
18:13:17 Deedee: I work with people who use colon therapy or enemas to clear out the colon instead of the Golytely.
18:13:47 Tim: Thanks deedee, what should I tell the doctor?
18:13:59 Deedee: To fully clear out the colon, you want to take a long enema series for a couple of days.
18:14:10 Jean: Yes, in short I wanted to ask for triggers of constipation besides the usual dietary ones.
18:14:13 Deedee: It is Kristina, just on at DeeDee's computer
18:14:57 Lisa: Sorry, I just got a phone call to be in a TV jingle contest! Lol!
18:15:04 Deedee: Or have a colonic the day before and the day of the colonoscopy.
18:15:40 Deedee: You can assure the doctor that there are many ways to fully clear out the colon and that you will be thorough.
18:16:25 Tim: Thanks Kristina - next time I will ask him if that will be ok.
18:17:01 Deedee: One of the main causes of constipation is an underfunctioning thyroid, which is in charge of the musculature contractions of the colon.
18:17:24 Deedee: You can ask your doctor to call me or do some research on the issue.
18:17:46 Jean: Thyroid--very interesting!
18:17:48 Darvis: Kristina.....I used the green nozzle yesterday with the peppermint castile soap...very refreshing...and a good clean out
18:18:07 Deedee: Excellent.
18:18:22 Darvis: Might do another series this evening
18:18:51 Tim: I have been using the reg castile soap with good results:
18:19:18 Darvis: That's what I had been using...but this is very light and very good
18:19:30 Lisa: I like the peppermint oil. It works great and last a long time.
18:19:49 Tim: I have never tried the peppermint oil...
18:19:55 Darvis: Yes....and hopefully I don't smell like peppermint to everyone
18:19:56 Deedee: The schooling doctors get regarding these issues is regarding drugs and surgery. This is an excellent example where we can teach our doctor more about the other tools that are useful.
18:20:10 Lisa: The peppermint oil is better for you.
18:20:19 Tim: why is that Lisa?
18:20:34 kristina: Hi folks, I am now on my computer. I can type better with this computer so let's give it a try.
18:20:49 Lisa: Because any kind of soap is too harsh on the colon.
18:20:49 kristina: Did folks get the newsletter? Any comments?
18:20:58 kristina: Did you all hear that my book is out?
18:21:16 Darvis: Yes ...have to go ....all...love you all..
18:21:16 Tim: Lisa, I don't get results unless I use soap.
18:21:16 Jean: I've ordered it.
18:21:44 Tim: Your video was excellent Kristina!
18:21:47 kristina: Most soaps are harsh on the colon, which is why we develop our made-for-enema goat milk soaps.
18:21:59 kristina: Thanks, Tim, can you give a specific example or two?
18:22:27 kristina: We are about to make a couple more movies. The more specific feedback we get, the better we are at the next movie.
18:22:48 Tim: the series of how to clean out the colon rather than just one enema is one...
18:23:01 Jean: I'd like to see exactly how all the equipment is cleaned.
18:23:01 Hal: The one I got flickers rather annoyingly.
18:23:10 Lisa: Great newsletter Kristina! Interesting how toxic Valentine's Day can be!
18:23:16 kristina: The essential oils, given that they are just one item, are easier to handle if someone has a reaction to a cleansing implant.
18:23:48 Tim: also the right way to give an enema and not just wing it
18:23:52 kristina: Most soaps have fragrance as one of the ingredients, which is a petroleum product. Petroleum is toxic to the body.
18:25:04 kristina: Yeah, isn't it. I was thrilled to have come across that inspired.
18:26:13 kristina: Hal, call us up. We haven't had that feedback. We would like to sort that out.
18:26:25 Jean: By what mechanism would a chemical exposure cause a change in bowel habits (constipation)?
18:26:40 kristina: That is a good idea about showing how the equipment is cleaned. We will add that to our list.
18:27:16 kristina: Jean,
18:27:28 Tim: Have to go, perhaps see you all next month...
18:27:36 Jean: Yes?
18:27:42 kristina: can you tell me more about the specific chemical exposure and the results?
18:27:53 Hal: Okay
18:28:14 kristina: Given that each body has its own genetic weaknesses, it would be useful for me to know more.
18:28:24 kristina: Bye, Tim.
18:28:39 Jean: Breathing the fumes from a burned out dishwasher motor. Seems like the nerves of the colon died.
18:29:02 Jeff: Hello Kristina, I've been having problems regaining regularity after a series of enemas, both salt water and coffee. Any guidance here would be appreciated.
18:29:10 kristina: What was the functioning of the colon before that and after that exposure?
18:29:49 kristina: Were you regular before you starting taking the enemas? How often do you take enemas?
18:30:14 Jean: Before chemical exposure, pretty regular. After, all seemed to be at a standstill or pencil-thin.
18:30:48 kristina: Lisa, I can't wait for your visit. We have a new sauna. I think you will love it. Of course, you will have to bring some warm air with you!
18:31:12 Lisa: I can't wait Kris!!!
18:31:36 webmaster: Here's the link for the Organic Consumers Association Valentines Action page
18:31:39 kristina: The digestive tract is one of your main organs of elimination. When the body gets overloaded, the colon is often the loudest that something needs tending.
18:32:04 Lisa: It's been in the 80's in Austin, so I'll bring some of our warm air!!
18:32:20 kristina: Additionally, the liver needs to be well functioning in order to produce enough bile, in order to assist with endotoxin expulsion and more.
18:32:39 Jean: The only way I got through it for a while was store-bought little enemas. Then I found your site and will learn from your book and experiment with the real thing. Right now Smooth Move Tea is helpful.
18:32:46 kristina: Pencil-thin is a classic sign of irritable bowel.
18:33:24 kristina: I would work a detox program, such as is laid out in my new book, Ten Days to Optimal Health.
18:33:54 Jean: I thought irritable meant a lot of "life" in the colon instead of dead feeling.
18:33:56 kristina: With the 35-day program, you will regain some to all of the bowel function.
18:34:11 kristina: What you don't, you will have a clearer picture about what needs to be done next.
18:34:29 kristina: Any other symptoms after the chemical exposure?
18:34:34 kristina: Have you tried enemas?
18:35:05 kristina: Understandable, but pencil-thin is a classic sign of irritable bowel.
18:35:08 Jean: Equipment from your site on the way. I have a lot of reading to do too.
18:35:43 kristina: As I have come to find out through my own personal experiences, this is a way of life. Take your time. Enjoy the process and know that you can heal fully!
18:36:07 Jean: I thought I should get checked out for cancer but colonoscopy (my first) showed absolutely no problems.
18:36:13 Lisa: Jean, have you visited our message board? I know you will like it, and we would love to have you there!
18:36:46 Jean: It will be my first message board, but I'll try to figure it out, thanks.
18:37:16 kristina: Sounds like you are doing an excellent job thinking about this. Sorry about the exposure. I would love to hear the details -- how long you breathed in the toxins, did you know if was a problem right away, did you know before the exposure that such an experience could cause ongoing health problems?
18:37:27 kristina: Excellent!
18:37:30 sawdis: I don't think colonoscopies really detect IBS. The colon doctor I saw said it would IBS by default of nothing showing as being wrong
18:37:33 Lisa: It's easy to figure out. I'm sure you won't have any problem.
18:38:34 kristina: Yes, it is true that largely colonoscopies don't detect irritable bowel syndrome.
18:38:42 Jean: Breathed fumes probably a full day. I should have known better. I had to do a lot of dishes by hand.
18:39:12 kristina: Did you find yourself with problems right away or did it take awhile?
18:39:50 Jean: I think I noticed the difference in my gut pretty much right away.
18:40:53 Jean: I did what I knew to detoxify.
18:40:56 kristina: Wow! This is a perfect example for all of us to protect ourselves from all of the household toxins, including air fresheners, laundry detergents, vacuum cleaner belts, and more.
18:41:05 webmaster: can someone develop IBS suddenly and acutely or is it always a symptom of a more chronic condition?
18:41:08 kristina: What did you do?
18:41:58 kristina: At this point, I would have to say that IBS is an overload condition. One experience can trigger it, but it had to have been building up in the body for some time.
18:42:18 Jean: Sauna, detox cocktail, even more water, vitamins, store-bought little enemas.
18:42:58 kristina: You will need to make sure that your eat enough protein.
18:42:58 Lisa: Jean, do you mean Fleet enemas?
18:43:26 kristina: You need 90-120 grams of protein each day to allow the liver to fully cleanse the body from such an exposure.
18:43:42 Jean: Protein increase to rebuild structure?
18:44:05 kristina: Yes and to detoxify.
18:44:36 Jean: Sometimes timing in a chat room can be confusing. Yes, fleet enemas.
18:44:47 kristina: To those folks who are here every month - thank you. It makes a big difference to me to have your support.
18:45:01 kristina: I would love to hear a word or two about how life is going for you...
18:45:09 Lisa: Fleet enemas are not very good.
18:45:28 Jean: I was desperate and uninformed.
18:45:30 kristina: Fleet enemas only clear out the lower part of the colon so your colon cleansing adventures are just beginning.
18:45:43 Jean: I'm ready.
18:45:59 kristina: Congratulations!
18:46:11 jeff: Kristina, I've been having a lot of problems regaining regularity after a series of enemas. I was fairly regular before and hoped they would improve the situation.
18:46:36 kristina: Did you take just one series?
18:47:00 Jean: I eat meat, but would protein powder be okay?
18:47:06 jeff: Yes a series of about a dozen over a month.
18:47:50 jeff: I can read you. I'm not sure why my letters are white.
18:47:51 kristina: I don't recommend protein powders. I also only recommend high quality meats. And, lots of bone broth soup.
18:47:52 Jean: If you're talking to me, I'm not sure what a series is exactly.
18:47:58 kristina: And, of course, liver once a week!
18:48:22 kristina: Some protein powders can work well as supplemental protein but not soy protein powder.
18:48:38 sawdis: Kristina is this in the paperback? Were there changed from the old web edition?
18:48:39 Jean: Doesn't liver organ detoxify a body so it would be full of toxins?
18:49:11 webmaster: Kristina's battery is low, please hang on while she hooks up
18:49:42 webmaster: The new book is in paperback and has much more information than the older CD version
18:50:02 Darvis: Hi I'm back
18:50:07 webmaster: Kristina can you say a bit about what's new in the paperback edition
18:50:14 Lisa: A series is taking more than one enema, you can put different things in each enema like soap, and use oil in one and often the last enema can be an implant like coffee.
18:50:25 kristina: Yes, my paperback, even though it has the same title is very different from the original.
18:50:55 sawdis: I didn't even want to do another detox without reading the new edition, I was waiting in it
18:51:25 kristina: How it is the same is that it is still laid out in 10 day increments, followed by a 5 day fast for a total of 35 days. Otherwise, much of the information has been updated. For instance, I now think that soy foods are not optimal foods to eat except in small quantities and as fermented foods.
18:51:27 sawdis: my body has been very well but my stess level is almost non-existent too
18:51:59 kristina: Excellent! Stress is a real factor when optimizing one's health.
18:52:00 Jean: I've heard the same about soy.
18:52:50 Jean: I guess stress can be chemical too.
18:53:05 kristina: You need to get liver that is only from an animal that is raised on natural foods such as grass, without drugs, without antibiotics
18:53:14 kristina: Yes, stress is chemical!
18:53:16 Darvis: Kristina, do you recommend using flax seed or bran?
18:53:29 sawdis: well stress causes acid buildup in the stomach and it goes down to the large intestine which hates acid and causes it to constrict being very painful
18:53:55 kristina: Also, in the old version I completely discouraged dairy. Now I highly recommend raw dairy! This is a yummy addition to the program.
18:54:07 kristina: And, I have added many more implant recipes and information on taking enemas.
18:54:42 sawdis: Oh, I should mention in Canada we can buy raw cheese in stores! at least in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario.
18:54:48 kristina: Liver is one of our most therapeutic foods. Eating quality liver once a week will improve one's health.
18:55:12 kristina: For those of you who don't want to, soon we will offer liver in a pill, but the real thing is almost always better.
18:55:40 Jean: I ate it all my life because I thought it was good for me until I realized what the organ did in the body.
18:55:45 kristina: Soon we hope to sell raw cheese on our site!
18:56:08 Darvis: wow....sounds good
18:56:15 kristina: Yes, you do not want to eat commercially raised liver.
18:56:24 Lisa: I guess it's like eating fish is much better than taking fish oil capsules.
18:56:45 kristina: Raw, grass fed, amish cow cheese and raw goat cheese -- all full fat!
18:56:58 sawdis: I ate lots of organic liver during the detox, didn't know then it was THAT good. no organic liver is from grass fed animals without chemicals
18:57:13 Darvis: Kristina...what about flaxseed?
18:57:25 kristina: Flaxseed for what reason?
18:57:39 Darvis: I heard it was good for the detox
18:58:21 Jean: Thanks, everyone, I've learned a lot.
18:58:22 jeff: I had done about a dozen enemas over a period of about a month over about a month. Whenever I tried to stop I would become constipated and have to take another enema in three days or so.
18:59:35 webmaster: Folks we'll be shutting down in a few minutes. Thank you all for coming and participating. Come back next month at 5pm Wednesday March 15
18:59:42 Lisa: Thank you for being with us, Jean, and hope to see you on the message board!!
18:59:44 kristina: Adding a fiber supplement to the daily regime can be useful, but some don't do well with flax so I would recommend proceeding slowly. You can also try Chia seeds, psyllium and more.
19:00:05 Darvis: thank you...that helps
19:00:31 kristina: Hey Jeff, how about you email me since we didn't get to you tonight. I will look forward to hearing from you.
19:00:35 Lisa: Thank you everyone for joining us!
19:01:06 kristina: Yes, thanks everyone for spending time here tonight. Take care!
19:01:06 webmaster: Thank you everyone. It's 6pm so please log out so we can close the chatroom until next time. Have a good month!
19:01:07 Lisa: And, Kris and KJ, we'll talk very soon!
