16:56:08 kristina: Hi everyone. My 3 year old is here with me for a bit and she is being so cute. She has a cold and is busy going through my stuff, asking me, "What else can I have to make me feel better?" Currently, she is rubbing aloe vera gel on her skin. Before that, she took two Chlorella.
    16:57:00 webmaster: Cool...hi Rayna
16:57:28 Lisa: Give your beautiful daughter a big kiss for me! Rayna is always so cute!
16:57:39 kristina: Anyone can feel free to ask questions, tell stories, or share anything else they have on their mind.
16:58:26 kristina: Hi Lisa. Thank you. Rayna is lovely. I will give her a big hug for you. Tim is picking up the three girls shortly to take them to Johannah's viola concert at her school.
16:58:34 Dave: Hi, Dave in. Had I asked that as a 3YO, I now know what mom would say/do. Involved soapy water, lol
16:59:43 kristina: Well, just before the Chlorella and the aloe vera, she asked me to pretend to give her a colonic. She had enemas as a baby due to the fact that she was born constipated. Maybe her intuition is telling her what she really needs.
17:00:10 webmaster: Check out her farm site and see the cute goats and rayna and daddy
17:00:25 webmaster: Mike..yes....but we needed it up there....;)
17:01:18 webmaster: Mike>> I tried to make the S into a spring too with no luck and settled for that.
17:01:33 Dave: Lisa sent some nice pix around after her trip to the farm
17:01:42 webmaster: Are their any questions for Kristina tonight?
17:02:53 webmaster: Mike>> you try it and send it my way :D
17:03:36 Dave: maybe a little discussion of therapeutic re illness/constipation enemas. Think most of us got more of the latter when most moms gave them.
17:03:49 webmaster: Did you all read about our Kristina's new BLOG we are about to launch?
17:04:02 George: I noticed that you are now selling a 50" 32 fr. colon tube. Is this a useful tool to have, or just a toy or gadget?
17:04:12 kristina: I have gotten a lot of response in emails regarding the Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis that I am now using. I would love to chat about that tonight, if anyone is interested.
    17:05:44 webmaster: That's a good question about the 50" 32FR colon tube.
17:06:18 kristina: I don't recommend colon tubes that are that length. If one wants to move water that deeply in the colon, it is best to take your time, use a Smooth Flow Syringe and Hose System, and take enemas in series.
17:06:28 Sarah: I have a question. I give my husband an enema about once a month for cleansing purposes. Most of the time it goes just fine. But sometimes, I just can't seem to get the water to go in. Any suggestions...
17:06:29 Mike_K: So Kristina what does hair tissue mineral analysis involve?
17:06:41 Dave: Sorry, meant therapeutic versus sickroom enemas.
    17:07:01 kristina: Sarah,
17:07:28 kristina: Can you tell me more about what methods you use and what you mean by the water doesn't seem to go in?
17:07:40 eliliam: Why is coffee helpful to use when taking an enema?
17:08:05 Sarah: I use a regular enema bag with a small tip. It's like the water just won't flow in.
17:08:10 webmaster: Eliliam wrote: Why is coffee helpful to use when taking an enema?
17:08:28 kristina: A HTMA tests for heavy metals such as lead, aluminum, cadmium, mercury in the tissues of the body.
17:09:09 Lisa: I bet he needs a much better nozzle. The tips that come with the bag are terrible!
17:09:17 kristina: By seeing what heavy metals a person is dealing with, we can determine how often one needs enemas, what type of solutions to use, and what type of foods need to be utilized for cleansing.
17:09:55 eliliam: Why do you use coffee instead of water when taking an enema?
17:09:58 kristina: Yes, our retention nozzles work wonders, especially because they allow the person taking the enemas to more fully relax.
17:10:10 webmaster: eliliam>>> change your color
17:10:21 Sarah: I will look at the website. Thanks.
17:10:23 Lisa: Sarah, look at the big green nozzle on Kris's site. Flex nozzle I think it's called. They work great!
17:10:42 kristina: Any strongly brewed organic coffee works well in enemas.
17:11:01 kristina: The coffee must not be decaffienated.
17:11:44 kristina: Our made-for-enema coffee is additionally therapeutic.
17:11:59 kristina: Our coffee has a higher palmitate and caffeine content.
17:12:16 Dave: On tips, I got a bigger hard rubber one at 4!
17:12:27 Sarah: I just looked at the website. These nozzles are MUCH bigger than what I have. Do you have to do anything special to insert them?
17:12:28 LoneEagle: I have a severe constipation problem from long term vicodin use. any suggestions on what treatment would work best?
17:13:20 kristina: Coffee is recommend at the end of an enema series, because it stimulates the liver to produce more bile and more antioxidants.
17:13:26 eliliam: Are enemas equally as helpful as colonics or do you need a colonic for full potency?
17:13:42 kristina: By using coffee, one pulls the liver into the cleansing process.
17:13:58 Lisa: Sarah, buy some super salve. that works wonders. Kristina's first movie, All About Enemas, will help you so much. Please do look into that.
17:14:07 kristina: A simple enema mostly only pulls out toxins from the main circulation and not from any other part of the body other than the colon.
17:14:10 webmaster: It is normal size and may only require lubrication.
    17:14:11 Sarah: Thank you.
17:14:35 kristina: Enemas, done with skill, are as therapeutic as colon hydrotherapy.
17:14:55 kristina: The therapeutic enema process is laid out in both of our movies.
17:15:06 kristina: The nozzle is easily inserted into the anus.
17:15:47 kristina: The anus is a closed mouth that with proper lubrication and care opens and allows large nozzles in easily. Think about how large a stool can be...
17:16:15 webmaster: Kris, can a person achieve optimal health and the benefits of colonics at home with the use of an enema bag system?
17:16:25 Sarah: I understand. Just don't want to hurt the poor guy!
17:16:31 Lisa: Your movies are the best Kristina! When is your new book coming out??
17:16:54 Dave: I found the retention nozzle, with bulb puffed up a great help in retaining coffee enemas, which should be held in up to 15 minutes for best results.
17:17:27 kristina: And, fyi- we will be adding a new line of retention nozzles as soon as we can source them.
17:17:44 Sarah: What is a retention nozzle?
17:18:05 kristina: Yes, a person can achieve optimal health and the benefits of colonics at home with the use of an enema bag system, as long as they know what they are doing.
    17:18:11 kristina: Thank you, Lisa.
17:18:11 webmaster: Here is an example of a retention nozzle.
17:18:13 eliliam: If I was searching for the best enema bag for health purposes, which would you recommend, Kristina?
17:18:32 kristina: My new paperback book, which I am absolutely thrilled about, is coming out in the summer.
17:19:24 webmaster: A retention nozzle inflates a balloon after it is inserted and it keeps it from slipping out
17:19:26 kristina: A retention nozzle slightly blows up once it is inside of the body so that it doesn't slip out and stops any leakage. This allows for a therapeutic enema that is deeply relaxing.
17:19:47 Lisa: Do you have a cover design yet for your book?
17:19:48 kristina: I love your questions, Eliliam!
    17:19:56 webmaster: me too ELI!
    17:20:04 Sarah: Oh, wow!!!
17:20:36 eliliam: Once it is out, where would be the easiest place to purchase your book?
17:20:40 kristina: I would recommend one of our Flowmaster Systems. I think the Silicone Flowmaster is the best enema bag.
17:20:56 eliliam: And thank you, Janet.
17:21:18 kristina: I am meeting with a woman who designs book covers on Friday. I have seen her work and I am thrilled with her artistic talents.
17:21:43 kristina: However, if any one has any ideas about what I book cover that is called Ten Days to Optimal Health might look like, let me know.
17:21:44 webmaster: I still say the cover should be you and the mountains.
17:22:25 kristina: You will be able to purchase the book at most any bookstore in the country, and of course, our site will have the book available.
    17:22:29 George_Sand123: Good evening Kristina!
    17:22:37 kristina: Hello!
17:22:45 kristina: Okay, back to HTMA...
17:22:53 Lisa: I agree with the webmaster. That would make a great cover!
17:23:10 kristina: The HTMA also shows us how your adrenal glands and thyroid glands are functioning.
17:23:11 George_Sand123: I didn't expect to be free to join you tonight, so it's a good surprise to be here now!
17:23:33 kristina: Your overall ability to handle stress and to digest carbohydrates.
    17:23:34 webmaster: Welcome!
    17:23:44 kristina: Excellent.
17:25:19 kristina: In addition, the HTMA shows us if you are at all deficient in minerals or if your body has a toxic level of minerals.
17:25:28 Dave: Will book talks about how to start with enemas, colonics? A big barrier for those, probably older crowd, unhappy with cleanouts as kids?
17:25:50 kristina: So many people take, for instance, calcium or zinc because they read an article or heard it would be good for them, however, this is often not the case.
17:26:17 eliliam: I have heard on this site that animal fats are good for you, but many other places it seems people say that they are fattening. Can you tell me about that?
17:26:41 Lisa: I'm so glad your book will be easy to find every place, and make your ideas known. I hope The View will ask you to come on the show again!!
17:26:43 kristina: Yes, my book talks about using enemas in detail - the history of enemas, how to use the different types of equipment, why to own which type of equipment, implants, solutions, and a cleansing program to be used.
17:26:43 Mike_K: Kris what do people send you a sample of there hair?
17:27:42 kristina: Animal fats, from healthy animals fed grass and low grain, are an excellent food source which don't make people fat.
17:28:17 Mike_K: Ya just look at Kris :-)
17:28:17 kristina: I need scalp hair that is untreated. The hair needs to be taken in small portions from at least four or five different locations of the scalp. The recommended areas for collection are the nape of the neck, a couple of spots on the back side of the head, and the top of the head. Cut the hair as close to the scalp as possible. The sample length shouldn't exceed 1 1/2 inches. Retain the 1 1/2 inches closest to the root and discard the excess. I need at least one heaping teaspoon of hair. Send your hair in an envelope to me at Optimal Health Center, 2158 Atwood Ave., Madison, WI. 53704. Once you have sent your hair, email me so that I can send you an intake form. Also, you will need to send $50 by check or call in your credit card number.
17:29:08 eliliam: Why does the popular media portray animal fats as being unhealthy?
17:29:14 kristina: Yeah, just look at me! I can't wait until I start writing down what I eat each day. I think you will all have a lot of fun with that. I eat about 1 stick of butter daily.
17:29:26 kristina: Which, of course, isn't to say that all people need that much fat.
17:30:04 Mike_K: Is it butter made from the goat's milk?
17:30:20 webmaster: I want to hear about the BLOG you have coming up.....can you tell us more about it?
17:30:28 kristina: However, fat, being one of the three macronutrients - carbohydrates, protein and fat - is a highly important nutrient for the body to do what the body does best - stay healthy, vibrant, craving free, zestful, happy, and well.
17:30:30 webmaster: since you mentioned having to write it all down
17:30:45 Dave: Can Kris or Lisa give us a little summary on The View show appearance? Respectful reaction?
17:31:02 kristina: I drink about 1/2 gallon of milk a day, 3 cups of whole milk raw kefir - all goat's milk.
17:31:21 kristina: However, at this time, the butter I eat is from PA. We haven't perfected the making of butter on our farm, as of yet.
17:31:35 Lisa: Kristina had to turn down the appearence on the View because they didn't give her enough notice.
17:31:55 Lisa: So I hope she can make the show next time!
17:32:18 Lisa: I'm glad you are back George Sand!
17:32:20 kristina: I will be writing down what I eat on a daily basis, along with thought and reflections on my work, my farm and my other passions. I think it will turn out to be fun and extremely interesting to you all.
17:32:43 webmaster: for Kristina's Daily diet BLOG
17:32:58 kristina: I realized that it is so hard to eat well in our lives because next to none of the people that we are around eat well, so in comparison, it is easy to feel like one eats well.
17:33:18 kristina: I hope to be an inspiration to the folks who read the blog.
17:33:35 Dave: I take this diet is also a good BM mover too?
17:33:46 kristina: Lis, can you write about The View?
17:34:10 Lisa: I sure will. To Barbara Walters herself!!!
17:34:37 kristina: Absolutely, as I write in my book, butyrate acid is one of the main foods for the colonic mucosa. Butyrate is a fatty acid that is only found in whole milk.
17:35:26 George_Sand123: Back again - my PC had a problem!
17:35:28 Lisa: I'm going to write to "ELLEN" as well!
17:35:49 kristina: The popular media portrays animal fats as being unhealthy due to the desires of the modern food industry's marketing efforts.
17:36:08 kristina: It is a sad truth but it is one of the most effective marketing campaigns in history.
17:36:39 George_Sand123: Kristina, may I ask you a question when convenient?
17:37:05 Lisa: Jump right in GeorgeSand!
    17:37:16 George_Sand123: Thanks, Lisa!
17:37:18 kristina: Saturated fats play many important roles in the body. They provide integrity to the cell membrane, enhance the body's use of essential fatty acids, enhance the immune system, protect the liver and contribute to strong bones. Saturated fats do not cause heart disease. In fact, saturated fats are the preferred food for the heart. Your body makes saturated fats out of carbohydrates.
17:37:31 kristina: Dietary cholesterol contributes to the strength of the intestinal wall and helps babies and children develop a healthy brain and nervous system. Foods that contain cholesterol also provide many other important nutrients. Only oxidized cholesterol, found in powdered milk and eggs, contributes to heart disease. Powdered milk is added to 1% and 2% milk.
17:37:58 kristina: Red meat is a rich source of nutrients that protect the heart and nervous system including vitamins B12 and B6, zinc, phosphorus, carnitine and Coenzyme Q10
17:38:00 E-MAN: Do you have a bulb enema that has a back flow stop?
17:38:12 kristina: Eggs are nature's perfect food, providing excellent protein, the gamut of nutrients and important fatty acids that contribute to the health of the brain and nervous system. Americans had less heart disease when they ate more eggs. Egg substitutes cause rapid death in test animals.
17:38:38 George_Sand123: I'm wondering whether it is usual for it to take three or four days after taking a couple of enemas for one's BMs to return to normal, and maybe not even have a BM for the first couple of days after the enemas. What do you think of this, Kristina?
17:38:47 webmaster: E-MAN, no, we don't...only a higginson syringe and a smooth flow syringe
17:38:48 kristina: The Higginson Syringe or the Smooth Flow Syringe with Hose System might meet your needs.
17:39:20 kristina: It is common for the body to take a few days to produce a bowel movement. It isn't ideal.
17:39:35 kristina: What this shows you is how long your transit time is.
17:39:46 George_Sand123: That's good to know! Thank you!
17:39:50 kristina: You do want a transit time of 12-24 hours, and ideally no longer.
17:40:15 kristina: There are many ways to decrease your transit time.
17:40:31 George_Sand123: What ways do you mean, Kristina?
17:41:10 kristina: Lean meat and lowfat milk lack fat soluble vitamins needed to assimilate protein and minerals in meat and milk. Consumption of low-fat foods can lead to depletion of vitamin A and D reserves.
17:41:33 kristina: 30% calories as fat is too low for most people, leading to low blood sugar and fatigue. Traditional diets contained 40% to 80% of calories as healthy fats, mostly of animal origin
17:41:50 kristina: Most grain products are made from white flour, which is devoid of nutrients. Additives in white flour can cause vitamin deficiencies. Whole grain products can cause mineral deficiencies and intestinal problems unless properly prepared.
17:42:59 Sarah: Another enema question. Sometimes the whole enema bag goes into my husband. Usually after a first enema. Is it safe for this much water to go in?
17:43:24 kristina: In order to decrease transit time, you have to deeply commit to lifestyle changes, take daily enemas or take supplements. Each person is different, but the things that work are Super Aloe, Reacted Magnesium, a rigorous cleansing program, additional exercise, eating more fat, massage
17:43:50 kristina: ABSOLUTELY!!! As long as he is not in pain.
17:43:57 Dave: Would you equate anti-animal fat campaign with that against traditional bag and can enemas by docs?
    17:44:06 webmaster: Sarah>> do you have a 1 or 2 quart bag?
17:44:18 Sarah: I think it is two quart.
17:45:08 kristina: Yes, I would. Nice analogy. And, I am deeply sorry about it.
17:45:13 webmaster: There are many customers that take 2 quart enemas and hold them. And as Kristina said, as long as there is not pain...
17:45:34 kristina: I recommend that people take at least 2 quart enemas, if not 3 quarts.
17:45:39 George_Sand123: Kristina, is it OK to take even four 2-qt enemas, discharging each one before the next?
    17:45:45 Tom_N.: Hi Kris!
17:46:16 Lisa: I do that fairly often GeorgeSand!
17:46:17 kristina: The colon is large and can hold a lot of water. It is this infusion of large quantities of water, deep into the colon, that brings about a cleansing of the entire colon using enemas
17:46:42 Tom_N.: I like your idea of blogging!
17:46:56 kristina: Yes, you can take multiple enemas in a row. I usually recommend 2-4 enemas in a row, followed up by a coffee implant.
17:46:59 George_Sand123: Thanks, Kristina and Lisa! It seems this is OK then.
17:47:09 Sarah: Okay, good. And how long should you keep it in before letting it out?
17:47:15 kristina: However, all of this depends on how the person taking the enema responds to the enema therapy.
17:47:27 kristina: Thanks, Tom! And, hello.
17:48:40 Tom_N.: Seems like you can set your own pace and answer would-be e-mails in advance, saving you time
17:48:42 George_Sand123: Would you say, Krstina, that holding a 2-qt enema for half an hour, if possible, is good?
17:48:44 kristina: When you are not using an implant ingredient, like coffee or olive oil, you only need to hold the water for the length of the enema. Once all the water is in the colon, one can release on the toilet. With that said, it is always useful to massage the colon before one sits on the toilet.
17:48:51 kristina: As long as the person isn't in pain.
17:49:29 Sarah: I've learned a lot today. Thanks.
17:49:39 kristina: The idea of the blog is to share my daily diet and reflections. I haven't learned the other advantages as of yet. Janet is working on that.
17:49:43 E-Man: Why is there more cramping with a bag than a bulb enema?
17:49:51 kristina: You are very welcome, Sarah. Thanks for being here with us.
17:50:02 kristina: More water? I am not sure.
17:50:20 George_Sand123: And your answers have been very helpful to me too, Kristina!
17:50:35 Tom_N.: I think your reflections will give people info on things they want to know about.
