17:33:29 webmaster: Hello everyone and welcome to the Live Chat with Kristina Amelong for December 2005
December 14, 2005
17:34:01 webmaster: The chat will begin at 5pm Central time today
17:34:23 epral: kristina, I have been using peppermint castile soap enema for the last 2 weeks - is there any problem with this?
17:35:56 kristina: Hello, thanks so much for joining our chat. At this moment, we are testing the chat. The chat officially begins at 4:45 CST. Talk to you in one half hour. We are going to close the chat room until then. Please log off until 4:45.
17:37:14 aaron: hi
17:42:52 Tim: Kristina , can we ask you a question?
17:52:07 Dave: Dave here
17:52:47 Billy_The_Kid: Hi everybody
17:53:05 Tim: hi Billy
17:54:41 Lisa: Hello everyone! Glad you are with us today!
17:54:52 Tim: Hi Lisa
17:54:57 Dave: How are things in New orleans, Billy?
17:55:53 Billy_The_Kid: They are getting back a little bit to normal, but it will never be the same. Terrible storm.
17:56:52 Dave: Very sad
17:57:12 Lisa: KJ, I'm just wondering, are you taking Janet's place?
17:57:28 Billy_The_Kid: The traffic around here would make somone think it was boomtown instead of a disaster
18:01:10 Lisa: It's 5pm now! Let's start our questions!
18:02:31 Lisa: How are all of you holding up this winter? Are you all staying well?
18:03:00 Tim: in reading the information Kristina has on a series of enemas, is it essential to take more than one?
18:03:07 Dave: A good timely subject with much to discuss.
18:03:24 kristina: I am back. I walked 3 blocks to pick up my daughter at daycare. She is still with me so I may be a bit interrupted until her dad gets here.
18:03:36 aaron: so I have a question: are enemas good for diabetics?
18:03:45 Dave: Hi to birthday girl.
18:03:52 Tim: Hi Kristina
18:03:55 kristina: I funny story is that I didn't bring a leash from the country to be able to walk with him in the city. Guess what I used to take him on his walk?
18:04:01 kristina: An amber enema hose!
18:04:23 kristina: Yes, my baby girl turned 4 on Monday!
18:04:38 robert: Hello
18:04:49 kristina: Thank you for saying Happy Birthday.
18:05:08 kristina: Go ahead with all and any questions. And do check out those links I posted.
18:05:18 Billy_The_Kid: I was 4 once
18:05:40 kristina: If you want to clear out the entire colon from the anus to the cecum, it is essential to take at least 2 enemas in a row.
18:06:02 kristina: Kelley Protocol
18:06:17 kristina: Do you having any stories from being 4?
18:06:45 Billy_The_Kid: My memory only goes back to 5
18:06:56 robert: Kristina, I am not very comfortable with an enema at home or by a professional. Can you tell me about any products that will achieve the same results?
18:06:57 kristina: Yes, diabetics can take enemas, but that will not be the only tool that is needed.
18:06:58 Dave: Well, got my first remembered enema from mom's can, lol
18:07:09 Tim: Thank you Kristina - can the second one be with soap?
18:07:33 kristina: In order to keep your blood sugar balanced, you will need to eat lots of healthy fat like coconut oil and raw dairy. And, you need to keep your carbohydrate intake low.
18:07:41 aaron: is it necessary for diabetics to get enemas?
18:08:20 kristina: I would also recommend a Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis when you are looking to optimize your health in relation to diabetes.
18:08:31 kristina: I would do the first enema with soap.
18:08:54 aaron: should I ask my diabetic doctor about getting enemas?
18:08:56 kristina: You can do a second with soap, but I think it is best to do the second enema with peppermint oil and Celtic sea salt.
18:09:13 kristina: You can ask, yes. And, how about setting up a phone consultation with me?
18:09:28 Dave: Maybe discuss tonight body challenges from holiday and winter stresses?
18:09:41 aaron: I don't have any money to pay for it
18:09:54 kristina: It is not required that anyone do enemas. However, as you will read in my blog that I just posted today, all of us need added assistance when it comes to cleansing.
18:10:13 aaron: can you send that blog?
18:10:24 kj: here's the link to the blog
18:10:24 Tim: The reason I would like to use soap for the second as well is because retention of water..
18:10:41 robert: kristina, did you see my question?
18:10:42 Lisa: Kristina, I found your Blog to be very interesting!
18:10:55 aaron: where is the blog
18:10:58 kristina: For this reason, many people do find themselves more energetic when they utilize regular cleansing tools such as enemas, healthy fats, fasting, clay baths and more.
18:11:42 Lisa: Thanks Kristina for posting the blog link on the message board! I got a lot out of that.
18:12:06 Tim: Yes, I do have much more energy after an enema
18:12:45 kristina: If money is an issue, there are many pages on www.optimalhealthnetwork.com that guide you to optimize your health.
18:12:53 Billy_The_Kid: A couple examples of healthy fats, please
18:12:53 Lisa: I get the most energy from a coffee enema!
18:13:23 kristina: What I would try is taking 3 enemas series in one week. From this experience, ask yourself, "how do you feel?"
18:13:33 Tim: Kristina, you posted you should consult a doctor before ever taking an enema. It is really necessary?
18:13:50 kristina: If you feel energized and healthier, do the following the next week, or only do one or do five.
18:14:07 aaron: Can I take fleet enemas?
18:14:24 Tim: I tried a coffee enema and had a hard time expelling....
18:14:57 kristina: After taking enemas for a number of weeks, you will come to be able to tell by how you feel how often enemas are beneficial to you, if at all. Again, read the site to address how often are enemas safe and more.
18:15:06 Lisa: Fleet enemas are terrible! They are too harsh on the colon, and you don't get that nice fresh feeling.
18:15:35 aaron: Kristina, can I take fleet enemas 3 times in a row?
18:15:43 kristina: Coconut oil
18:15:47 kristina: raw butter
18:16:00 Lisa: Kristina does not like Fleet enemas.
18:16:00 kristina: raw cheese, which I may be selling soon.
18:16:23 Dave: Only advantage of Fleets is convenience vs. the bag.
18:16:29 Lisa: Kristina says Fleets are too harsh on the colon!
18:16:43 Tim: i agree, Lisa
18:16:55 Billy_The_Kid: Over the long run
18:17:04 Billy_The_Kid: fleets are expensive
18:17:13 kristina: And Fleets do not do the job of cleansing out the entire colon like a well-done enema series. They only clear out the lower colon.
18:17:46 Mike_K: Fleet enemas contain phosphates, which are very dehydrated into the system
18:17:51 aaron: Kristina, I bought fleets and snuck into my room and took them and they felt good
18:18:24 Lisa: For a small enema, using a bulb syringe with peppermint oil is best. Be sure to use filtered water!!
18:18:59 kristina: When a health care provider is in my position of offering health advice, it is important that I make sure that the guidance I give is only suggestions and not medical advice.
18:19:30 aaron: do you bleed after an enema?
18:19:44 Lisa: good question aaron - no, you should not bleed after an enema.
18:19:48 Dave: aaron, you have a big problem if you do.
18:19:49 Tim: I think we understand that Kristina, thank you
18:20:41 Lisa: Kristina, would you think that something is terribly wrong if someone bleeds after an enema?
18:21:12 Tim: When will the next chat session be? I have to leave...
18:21:24 Dave: Any winter survival advice for the body, Kristina and others, for diet and colon care?
18:21:53 kristina: December 18th
18:22:02 Mike_K: Hemorrhoidal skin is very thin and has a tendency to bleed if overstimulated
18:22:04 Lisa: Tim, we will post the next chat on the website. Please keep checking.
18:22:21 kristina: One ought not bleed from taking enemas.
18:22:47 Tim: thanks Kristina and Lisa - see ya again
18:22:52 kristina: Bye,Tim
18:23:54 Lisa: Kristina, don't you mean Jan 18 for the next chat? You said December 18th!
18:24:13 kristina: Yes, thanks Lisa.
18:24:24 kristina: Okay, survival advice for the holiday season.
18:24:33 kristina: Number one - Avoid sugar as much as you are able.
18:24:40 kristina: Two - keep up a cleansing program.
18:24:43 Lisa: You're welcome! I'm sure Tim will check the website anyway.
18:25:22 kristina: One of the reasons that I added the clay baths to our site is because they too are very helpful in the winter months.
18:25:48 kristina: okay
18:28:04 kristina: The clay bath is now online. And, as you know, we are currently upgrading our affiliate program AND adding all our products as links.
18:28:17 Dave: Kris, my local colon therapist does a semi-annual cleanse (with coffee enemas) between Thanksgiving and Xmas. Good step?
18:28:59 kristina: Yes, there are other things you can do to achieve the same results as taking enemas. What those tools are often depends on the individual, but here are a few of the tools.
18:29:20 kristina: Absolutely that is a good step to cleanse between the holidays.
18:29:24 kristina: Tools:
18:30:19 Lisa: That sounds wise Dave!
18:31:17 Lisa: Kristina, I expel like crazy after tea enemas. Is this true with most people?
18:31:32 kristina: Super Aloe
18:32:18 Maggie: Is Super Aloe habit forming if used regularly?
18:32:32 kristina: A vit-ra-tox cleanse
18:32:55 kristina: I don't believe Super Aloe is at all habit forming.
18:33:17 kristina: Healthy fats such as coconut oil, raw butter, cod liver oil
18:33:55 Maggie: I am seeing your answers, Kristina, but I don't see the question.
18:34:28 Maggie: Is there a certain type of cod liver oil that is safer then others?
18:34:37 kristina: Maggie, I am referring to the question how can one achieve the same results as taking enemas without taking enemas?
18:34:44 kristina: Castor oil is another tool that can be used.
18:35:25 Maggie: would you use this in hot oil packs or in the enema bag?
18:35:29 Mike_K: aaron, you need to check with your doctor to see if enemas are OK to use with diabetes in your case.
18:35:40 kristina: I offer Green Pastures. I also recommend Carlson's cod liver oil.
18:36:41 robert: are there pills that will achieve the same results as an enema?
18:37:33 kristina: Robert, enemas do many things for the body. If your goal with enemas is to clear out the colon only, super aloe will work similarly.
18:37:52 Billy_The_Kid: There are some prescription laxatives that will curl you toes!
18:37:52 robert: is that a pill form?
18:38:17 kristina: However, if the colon is impacted or if the body is toxic, Super Aloe will not remove impacted material and it will not remove toxins from storage sites.
18:39:06 robert: so all I need is super aloe?
18:39:24 Maggie: I have drunk George's aloe juice for a while for my constipation and it did nothing. Why is super aloe different?
18:39:29 kristina: If your only goal is to move the bowels daily, then yes.
18:39:50 Mike_K: Drinking super aloe will act as an herbal laxative
18:39:59 robert: i want to clean out the the colon
18:40:03 Dave: Hi webmaster
18:40:13 robert: but don't want a tube up my rear
18:40:26 Maggie: I thought super aloe was a pill?
18:40:37 Lisa: Hey! Is that you Janet?! We miss you!
18:40:41 kristina: Super Aloe is not made from the same plant. It is made from capes aloe. Capes aloe is a plant that grows in South Africa. It is a nutritive bowel stimulant.
18:41:11 kristina: Super Aloe is a pill. Within the capsule is a ground up plant
18:41:54 robert: you sell this?
18:42:13 webmaster: sorry I am not Janet, I am KJ, I work for Kristina and have assumed many of Janet's responsibilities
18:42:16 Maggie: As you know, I have a sluggish system and must stay away from Cascara senna, etc, to build the peristalsis back, so would I be okay still with the super aloe even though it is a stimulant?
18:42:38 Lisa: Welcome KJ!
18:42:42 webmaster: This is my first chat with Optimal Health and I am just learning the ropes of the software
18:42:46 webmaster: thank you Lisa
18:43:05 webmaster: sorry Mike not yet
18:43:11 webmaster: but I will check
18:43:12 kristina: I recommend you start with one capsule at bedtime. Take this dose for 2-3 days. IF the bowels are fully emptying each day, you can increase the dosage to 2 per day. Add one every three days until the bowels move daily.
18:43:27 Billy_The_Kid: Good luck , KJ. You are filling some big shoes!
18:44:12 kristina: Yes, you would be okay with Super Aloe. It is best to use the super aloe along with dietary changes and a few enemas here and there.
18:44:13 robert: my bowels move daily, but I want to get the full clean out
18:44:23 Lisa: KJ, have you been on our message board yet?
18:44:26 Maggie: Thank you Kristina. I will try this and hopefully I will get results.
18:44:34 robert: does the Vit ra Tox thing work well?
18:45:12 robert: anyone here used the Vit ra tox?
18:45:26 Maggie: Kristina, your blog was very nice to read and I agree we all need to clean out.
18:45:26 kristina: I would also recommend 125 mg of magnesium citrate, 3 times daily to improve bowel function. We offer this as Reacted Magnesium
18:45:49 webmaster: Lisa, only for a moment on the message board
18:46:05 webmaster: Thanks Billy
18:46:29 Billy_The_Kid: My pleasure!
18:46:42 Dave: Kris, don't you recommend mag citrate for little ones, too?
18:46:44 robert: vit ra tox, I mean
18:47:12 kristina: The Vit-Ra-Tox kit will assist your body to move out 10-20 feet of stool daily. This "stool" is referred to in the world of colon cleasning as mucoid plaque. If you are familar with the work of Bernard Jensen, you can see pictures of mucoid plaque. I also have some pictures on my website.
18:47:19 Lisa: You will like our message board KJ. Dave and I are moderators.
18:47:26 kristina: Yes, I do recommend mag citrate for little ones.
18:47:31 Maggie: I do take 1 tsp in the evenings of powdered magnesium but will try to do the 3x per day and should I get yours or finish mine?
18:47:35 robert: yes I have seen them
18:47:49 kristina: What type of magnesium is yours? Does it seem to work?
18:48:06 kristina: If you are getting results from it, go ahead and finish the bottle.
18:48:34 Maggie: It is Magnesium Citrate from NOW
18:48:58 kristina: Thanks, Maggie, for the positive feedback on the blog
18:49:02 robert: did Bernard Jensen develop the master cleanse?
18:49:31 Maggie: I also do ascorbic acid 5000 and the Magnesium hasn't seemed to do anything yet
18:50:12 Lisa: I left you positive feedback on your blog too. I learned so much from reading it!
18:50:42 kristina: No, he didn't. The Master Cleanse or Lemonade Diet was written about by Stanley Burroughs.
18:51:27 robert: ok, is the vit ra tox better than the cleanse?
18:51:38 kristina: No, most of my supplements are only available for doctors and are developed by Ortho Molecular Products.
18:51:51 robert: have you used vit ra tox, Kristina?
18:51:52 kristina: I will check the blog tommorrow for comments.
18:52:21 kristina: Yes, I have used the Vit-Ra-Tox kit many times, with satisfying results.
18:53:04 kristina: Absolutely the Vit-Ra-Tox kit is much better and also is used for different purposes than the Lemonade Diet
18:53:10 Maggie: I had undigested chicken in my colonic today and only ate it for the first time in 3 weeks. Does that mean that I am not digesting my food? Also is my magnesium ok or should I use yours?
18:54:03 kristina: Before I answer your question about mag, I need to know what type of mag you are using. There are many different types of magnesium.
18:54:38 epral: I have been using peppermint castile soap for 3 weeks - any problem with this?
18:54:41 kristina: As far as undigested chicken in your colon, yes that can mean you need more assistance with digestion. The first step that works wonders is chewing your food to turn it into a liquid.
18:55:05 Maggie: I wrote above that - it is Magnesium Citrate 100% pure powder
18:55:08 kristina: Peppermint castile soap is an excellent choice. How do you feel after your enemas?
18:55:23 kristina: Yes, you can continue to use that mag.
18:55:56 Maggie: Thank you - I will try it more often as your suggested
18:56:04 epral: totally cleaned out and able to breathe much better
18:56:19 Dave: How often and how many, epral?
18:56:34 Maggie: I too use the peppermint castile soap and feel very clean afterwards
18:56:46 epral: every other day
18:57:25 Maggie: If you take too many enemas, will you destroy the delicate mucus membrane in your colon?
18:59:15 kristina: From my research, I have not come upon any research of anyone harming themselves using enemas. I do think that if you take enemas and they don't improve your health, you need to stop taking them.
18:59:40 Maggie: Any other suggestions for poor digestion?
18:59:51 kristina: Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis is an excellent tool to track the effectiveness of your program..
19:00:21 Mike_K: So Lisa, are you ready to go back to Italy ?
19:00:29 Maggie: So this will help to know why I am not digesting?
19:00:36 Lisa: You bet Mike!
19:01:06 kristina: also, I think that all people need to take a healthy bacteria formula such as Primal Defense and eat bacteria rich foods such as raw milk and raw cultured vegetables or raw sauerkraut.
19:01:18 Dave: Lisa, when do we get the next chapter of your report on the trip?
19:01:43 Lisa: Soon Dave! I'll talk about Florence next!
19:02:01 Maggie: I am diligently working to find a raw milk source and hope to find one soon! thank you
19:02:13 kristina: Yes, the HTMA gives us a picture of many indicators into healthy digestion such as thyroid and adrenal function, both of which influence digestion. Additionally, we get a look at the heavy metal load in the body, which also effects digestion.
19:03:13 Maggie: I would like to then do this, but I am only 5 weekks into my new hair growth. How much longer do I need to grow it?
19:03:24 kristina: In this pause, I want to say a big thank you to those of you who come to the chat each time. I really appreciate your backing here. You all mean a lot to me.
19:03:50 sawdis: well you cured my IBS :-)
19:03:51 Maggie: Thank you for all of your research and all that you do for us
19:04:02 kristina: You need to send us one tablespoon of hair. The hair length needs to be 1 1/2 inches long. We can send you a scale to assist you with making sure you send us enough hair.
19:04:03 Dave: Likewise, Kris, both here and there.
19:04:21 epral: I have been giving myself enemas since I was 13. I am now 50. People say I look more like 33. I am male .
19:04:49 kristina: Can you talk about what you did, sawdis, next time, as I just looked over at my clock and see I have to go. Wow, how time flies when you are with loved ones.
19:04:58 Billy_The_Kid: I echo that as well. Kristina, you are a champ!
19:05:18 sawdis: Ok, I'll review anything I missed
19:05:42 kristina: See you all on the message boards, in email, on the next Live Chat on January 18th. Happy Holidays.
19:05:46 Dave: epral, discover them yourself or have mom's help?
19:06:17 epral: mom's help earlier
19:06:20 Lisa: Thank you are for being here everyone!
