I have decided to share my diet with my internet community on a day-to-day basis. I will do this to show people one picture of what it means to eat well in today's world. Given the intense influences of our cultures, our histories, and capitalism, almost all people around us do not eat well. Given this, it becomes almost impossible to eat an optimally healthy diet. A major goal with my work is to raise the bar on our understanding of eating, health, illness, community, and relationships. I am optimistic that by sharing with you my daily diet, I will support you to nurture yourself and your community in these ways.
I will write down what I eat each day. I eat every 2-4 hours. I always eat organic foods. I don't always eat all the food at one sitting. All animal products are pastured. All dairy products are eaten raw.
Day One
- 1 qt. spring water
- 10 oz. green tea with mint and 4 oz. raw cow's cream
- 2 cups of raw milk goat kefir and ½ cup organic blueberries
- 1 qt. raw organic goat milk
- ¼ cup raw sauerkraut
- ¾ stick of raw cow's butter
- ½ pound raw ostrich meat
Day Two
- 2 qt. spring water
- 10 oz. organic jasmine green tea and 4 oz. raw cow's cream
- 2 cups steamed broccoli with ½ stick of raw organic cow's butter and Celtic sea salt
- ½ apple with 1 tbsp. raw almond butter
- ¼ pound raw organic grass- fed beef
- 1 cup of beet kvass
- 2 magnesium citrate
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1/8 lb. raw liver
Day Three
- 1½ qt. spring water
- 10 oz. organic jasmine green tea
- 4 oz. raw cow's cream
- Stir fry with cooked cabbage, onions, kale, garlic and broccoli. Cook in coconut oil. Add raw bison pancreas toward the end to assure the pancreas was only minimally cooked.
- 2 quarts of raw, goat's milk with 4 raw, pastured eggs and 1 teaspoon raw honey
- 2 cups of raw goat kefir with ½ cup frozen blueberries
Day Four
- 1 qt. spring water
- 10 oz. echinacea tea
- 4 oz. raw goat cream
- 2 fried eggs in coconut oil
- ½ pound sushi grade tuna
- 2 sheets nori (seaweed)
- ½ avocado
- 1 chive
- ginger puree
- grated zucchini
(This is all rolled up into 2 sushi rolls.)
Day Five
- 1 qt. spring water
- 14 oz. Nettle and Pau D’Arco tea
- 4 oz. raw goat's cream
- 16 oz. raw vegetable juice: celery, dandelion greens, 2 small carrots, kale, and cucumber
- ½ stick raw, grass-fed cow’s butter
- 2 quarts raw goat's milk
- 4 raw, pastured, eggs
- 1 teaspoon raw honey
- 2 slices raw cow's cheese
- 3 lightly cooked chicken legs
Day Six
- 2 qt. spring water
- 2 16 oz. green tea with 3-4 oz. raw goat's milk
- 1 cup sauerkraut
- ¾ pound raw buffalo
- ½ stick raw butter
- 2 quarts raw cow's milk
- 4 raw egg yolks
- ½ apple
- 2 tablespoons raw almond butter
